Book Boxes
Posted on Mar 25th, 2025 Comments (0)
The HOA board voted to use funds to procure 2 book boxes for the enjoyment of the neighborhood. The expenditure is modest, and while the project is not complete the estimate is for around $500. The HOA would maintain the boxes such as painting and repair. The contents of the boxes would be through resident donations and be monitored at reasonable intervals. With that in mind, the boxes are would be "use at you own risk" as discussed in the Covenants for Use of the Common Elements. No additional insurance is required for the book boxes which would essentially ensure the boxes. Any damage to the boxes would be paid for without paying the deductible on the insurance. The Board has the right to approve the boxes without a full vote of the membership as outlined in the Covenants. The Board is the Architectural committee, and by quorum vote can approve projects.

Our neighborhood has limited common spaces for development. This Board is dedicated to making reasonable changes to the common elements without incurring assessments to the homeowners. We hope that this project will add to the lives of our residents by sharing the written word.
